Cultivating Community
With the intention to build connectedness and to support the wellbeing of students and staff the LS Cultivating Community Committee initiative was launched in the 2021-22 school year and developed Fun Fridays. Fun Fridays are open to all students and staff, have been well attended, and have had a positive impact on the interactions, connectedness, and school pride of the community. Fun Fridays is a series of playful events on campus during the lunch blocks every other Friday. For this initiative, SERF funded the purchase of an outdoor speaker and protective bag, a cornhole set, and a giant Connect 4 lawn game.
